Students Internet World 2007 event brief with Photos:

Student Internet World 2007 event is being conducted by the District 29/10/2007 to 01/11/2007 for four days. Nearly 300 networked computer systems have been arranged along with UPS, Generator, Multi  Media Projectors, 2 Mbps Broad Band and Leased line facilities with support of Online teaching with resource persons.

For teaching and helping the students, faculty from Computer Science and IT Departments of Engineering Colleges with the help of more than 100 students from both the Engineering colleges are being used.  There will be 15 minutes power point presentation given to all the students followed by live internet browsing for nearly an hour or so.

There will be 6 batches of students per day at both the colleges with each batch comprising of nearly 200 students. Nearly 5000 students from Yadgir Education district are covered in Appa College of Engg and 5000 students of Gulbarga education district are covered in PDA College.

The services of more than 200 staff from Education department staff including teachers have been used for the event.

Free working lunch has been provided by Sri Appa College of Engineering for the students and similarly by Sri. Viswhanath Swami of Swami Mission at Sri. PDA College of Engineering, Gulbarga. 

The district administration has also arranged for free transportation to students from different parts of the districts. Apart from the event, a visit to District Science Centre for gaining knowledge in Science has been scheduled and enjoyment at Kesaratagi Garden.

The NIC District Computer Centre with the support of Computer programmers of Education and other departments is helping the District Administration by technically coordinating and making the event a grand success.
